Tata Motors to launch Tata Manza

Indian auto lovers are graced by several launches in September and October. On 12th October, General Motors launched Chevrolet Cruze and BMW Z4 Roadster was also launched. Now another car is going to be introduced in India. The new launch is Tata Manza from Tata Motors. Obviously, the competition is going to be stiff for now, mainly due to festival season. Tata Manza will be launched on 14th October. In fact, Tata Manza is a new avatar of Tata Indigo. Though the platform will be of Tata Indigo Vista. The company started several programmes in the form of promotion but details about the mid-size sedan is still awaited. Even the pricing is out of agenda. But industry experts predicts the pricing to be in the range of Rs 5.5 lakh to 7.5 lakh.

The car is expected to be launched in both petrol and diesel engine variants. But the transmission will be manual only for both the cars. 1.4L petrol engine has been used with 1368cc capacity for petrol variant and 1.3L multi-jet diesel engine is used for diesel version of Tata Manza. Both engine have a proven history as these are being used in a number of Indian cars like Tata Indigo, Fiat Grande Punto, Maruti Swift, Maruti Swift Dzire, Fiat Linea and Tata Indica Vista.
