No plans to enter in Nano segment: Maruti Chairman
Maruti Suzuki’s Chairman R. C. Bhargava explained that the company had no plans to enter the Tata Nano segment. However he accepted that Tata Nano might have a marginal impact on its 800cc small car sales. He further added that the company had not been planning to reduce prices. The Tata Nano was launched by rival Tata Motors earlier this month at around $2,000 and the response was great.Althought he company is planning to bring its Alto model to compete with Tata Nano and for this company is planning to decrease the price of Maruti Alto.
