Honda Tapukara plant to produce new Jazz; Greater Noida to Mobilio
Honda's Noida facility will manufacture Honda Mobilio MPV, while the recently inaugrated plant in Tapukara will be making the new Honda Jazz. The company officials have declared that Mobilio will be produced in volumes of 45,000 units per annum at the Greater Noida plant. Apart from this, the company also seeks positive response from the Indian market reason being Mobilio MPV to will be the most fuel-efficient car in its category. Considerably, the new Honda MPV appears to offer a tougher competition as it will come powered by the same- 1.5-litre i-DTEC; frugal diesel engine also powers the Amaze and City, and both of these are rulers in their respective segments.

Honda Cars India is also gearing up to launch another of its new model- 2014 Honda Jazz, which will get into production by July this year. And, the new Jazz is finalised to be manufactured at company's Tapukara plant which is based in Rajasthan. The company plans to produce the new hatchback in volumes of 20,000 units annually.

About the earlier Jazz, the company has already discontinued the model in February 2013 as it could not churn the expected sales. Statiscally, the old Jazz was selling around 700 units on an average monthly sales in the phase between April-December 2012.
