Honda Amaze Facelift to be Launched Tomorrow!
The to-be-launched car has almost everything which is expected from vehicles of this segment (arguably much more) and is prepared to grab a larger share of the market.
Honda is all set to launch the new version of the Amaze on Thursday. The car saw daylight in the year in 2013, in India and this will be the first update by the automaker to the already established compact-sedan. The to-be-launched car offers almost everything which one can expect from a vehicle in this segment. It is well prepared to fight a battle and grab a larger share of the market.
Some of the most evident changes can be noted with respect to the car's interiors. A new dashboard with a black and beige theme and an integrated Bluetooth Connectivity with the stock audio system, are amongst the few. One of the most prominent upgradations in the new Amaze is the addition of Automatic Climate Control. Overall, one can safely state that the interiors have been inspired by the Honda Jazz, well at least up to an extent.
Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.5-litre i-DTEC motor, on the diesel front and produces 99 bhp, while 1.2-litre SOHC i-VTEC petrol mill generates 87 bhp. It is most likely that the Japanese carmaker will carry forward the same powerhouses, for they have performed generously well. It has also been anticipated that the gearbox just might be retained.
The car will be competing with the likes of Ford Figo Aspire and the facelifted Dzire. Volkswagen’s upcoming car, Ameo, will also be swimming in the same pool. Presently, Amaze is priced at Rs. 5.26 Lac and Rs. 6.24 Lac for the base petrol and diesel variant, respectively (ex-showroom New Delhi) and if the company is able to keep a check on the same, the automobile might be able to dismantle its competitors.
