The famous British handmade car maker, Profusion Exotic Cars has now introduced the 2013 Typhoon at Rs 55 lakh and started taking pre-orders for the car. The company expects to start deliveries of the booked car in the second half of 2013.Currently in India Profusion Exotic Cars sell vehicles for non-public road and track use. However, the company is in the process of road legalising its vehicles for use throughout India.
The Typhoon is the signature car offering from Profusion. Having powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine, the vehicle delivers an impressive power output of 145bhp and 188Nm torque, and due to its ultra light weight of around 630kg, the vehicle offers you a good driving experience.
What impresses more is the vehicle's competency to touch the 0-96kmph mark in just 4.3 seconds and the top speed of 210kmph. In a statement released on the official website of the company, the company talks about its Indian plans and ways to expand the market here.
It says, "All the cars we sell are fully UK road legal and have passed the extensive VOSA IVA test along with compliance with Euro4 emissions. These are the same great cars that we sell in India, so it should be just a matter of time before we can offer India road legality also."
