Maruti Suzuki introduces Alto 800 limited edition

India’s largest selling hatch Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is now available with a stylish limited edition avatar. The all new edition christened as ‘Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Maximum’ adorns features such as ART leather seat covers, side moldings, keyless entry, rear roof spoiler, attractive body graphics and side decals. The manufacturer is also offering Alto 800 with benefits of upto Rs 66,666.

Alto 800 is also offered with factory fitted CNG kit with i-GPI technology with 2 year of company warranty. The CNG model delivers a fuel economy of 30.46km/kg while the petrol model gives an average of 22.74kmpl. The automaker claims the running cost of CNG variant in about 1.25kms per km. Inside the cabin, Alto 800 embraces a CD/ FM music system with USB connectivity and speakers. While under the hood, the car is powered by 796cc, 3-cylinder, petrol mill with which it develops a maximum power output of 47.5bhp at 6000rpm and peak torque of  69Nm produced at 3500rpm.

Recently Maruti Suzuki India celebrated 25,00,00 ALTOs on the road. Alto was first introduced in 2000 and since then the sales of the small car have been phenomenal. In 2010, company introduced a powerful version of the Alto with subtle facelift and a brilliant K10 petrol power-plant. Later in 2012 company introduced Tata Nano rival Alto 800 thus discontinuing the original Alto. Every month, the Alto brand sells in between 15-20k units. Current cars under the Alto brand are Alto K10 and Alto 800.
