Here’s What The Base Active Variant Of The Skoda Kushaq Looks Like
The base trim is priced at Rs 10.50 lakh
Skoda has launched the Kushaq compact SUV, priced from Rs 10.50 lakh to Rs 17.60 lakh. It is available in three variants: Active, Ambition and Style. Here are images of the Kushaq’s base ‘Active’ variant, detailing the features found onboard.
The Active variant is equipped with a 115PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, paired to a standard 6-speed manual transmission. The same engine also gets an optional 6-speed automatic in the mid-spec Ambition and top-end Style variants. The Kushaq also gets a 150PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG (dual clutch automatic) in the top-end variant.
In the Active variant of the Kushaq, the LED headlamps have been replaced by dual barrel halogen units, the cornering fog lamps with DRLs, and the silver finishing is missing on the faux skid plates. There’re also manually foldable outside rear view mirrors, and black roof rails instead of shining silver.
The base variant gets 16-inch steel wheels with wheel caps, smaller than the top-end variant’s 17-inch alloy wheels. The mid-spec Ambition gets 16-inch alloys.
The cabin of the base variant gets black fabric seats and dual-tone dashboard theme. There’s also gloss finish seen on the dashboard.
Features onboard include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and manual AC. The top-end variant gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and automatic AC.
The Kushaq Active variant gets Skoda’s new two-spoke steering wheel with audio and phone controls and an analogue speedometer with digital information readout. The top-end variant gets cruise control and tyre pressure monitoring system.
There’s just a 12V socket up front, central locking switch, and a USB port for the infotainment system. It also gets a storage space up front where you can put your mobile phone.
It comes equipped with rear AC vents and a front armrest. The rear armrest is only limited to the top-end variants.
Standard safety features include electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, multi-collision braking, electronic differential lock, anti-slip regulation, roll-over control, dual front airbags and rear parking sensors.
In comparison to the top-end variant, it also misses out on hill-hold control, curtain and side airbags, 60:40 rear split seats, ventilated black leather seats, electric sunroof, rear view camera and wireless charging.
