Yes, you can go for it. Go plus can do the job but its not made of this job so efficiency and performance can be a problem for you in future. The refreshed design, standard safety tech and added feel-good features, especially that touchscreen makes these cars a bit more exciting. Strong points have been carried over as well, such as the punchy engine and the easy to drive nature. Yes, you’d still find some strange feature omissions and plastic quality isn’t all that great either. That said, neither of these is dealbreakers.

Yes, you need to get the fuel type changed on your RC from petrol/diesel to CNG. This process may take time. But you can use the vehicle legally only after getting your documents officially changed. Moreover, we would suggest you to have a word with the RTO department as they would be better people to assist you with the right information.

Datsun Go Plus is offered with a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine. This engine comes mated to either a 5-speed MT or a CVT. While it produces 68PS when paired to the manual gearbox, it goes up to 77PS in case of the CVT option. As per its specifications, it is a city-centric micro MPV and not recommended for hilly terrains. Also, it is heavy in weight as compared to Maruti Swift. It order to climb at hilly terrains, you need to keep the car at 2st or 2nd gear to get the desired output. So, if you are of with a 5-seater car, you may go for Maruti Swift, it delivers better power performance and fun to drive too. You may compare both the cars accordingly. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
