Suzuki's Next SX4 or S-Cross?

Another point of highlight at the Paris Motor Show which is on 29th September will be the S-Cross concept model which will be premiered during the show. It is expected that the actual production model, that the company is just giving finishing touches to, will replace the prevailing SX4.

Another point of highlight at the Paris Motor Show which is on 29^th September will be the S-Cross concept model which will be premiered during the show. It is expected that the actual production model, that the company is just giving finishing touches to, will replace the prevailing SX4.

The company however, has not disclosed any details about the concept currently. We recently came across the spy pictures of a masked prototype which was found testing on the European roads.

This mule suggests the crossover model will be larger than the current SX4. The new S-cross concept is being solely manufactured by Suzuki unlike the SX4 which was a joint product of Fiat and Suzuki.

Going on sale somewhere late 2013 or early 2014, the S-Cross will be made available in both petrol diesel engines in the European market. The North American model however is likely to come only with a petrol engine option.
