New Apollo 4G Tyre to run more than 1 lac kms
Looking at the market demand in India, Apollo Tyres have come up with a new tyre which can run more than 1 lac kms. The Amazer 4G Life tyre is developed in a joint venture of the Global R&D center of Chennai and Netherlands. The tyre is engineered with a 6 layer protection and has a new tread compound which prevents the tyre from punctures and cuts. This in turn increases the life of the tyre to about 1,00,000 kms.

Satish Sharma (President Asia Pacific, Middle East) of Apollo Tyres said in a statement, “This tyre is a result of an intensive market study done by our internal team in the past 2-3 years to assess the gap in the tyres available in the market. This product gap, along with feedback from the customers, was utilized by our R&D team to develop this technologically advanced tyre, with superior longevity, especially for the Indian road conditions. Our controlled test results have proven that the tyre can go up to 100,000 kms and beyond”
The Indian passenger car segment has seen a rise of 6.17% from last year. This product seems to be targeted specifically for the Indian customers who are cost conscious and aim at reducing the running cost of their car.
