Mitsubishi Outlander India's first BS-IV premium SUV

Mitsubishi Outlander, launched in October last year in India, has been awarded the first BS-IV certified premium SUV in India by ARAI (Automobile Research Association of India). The car was conferred the the 'AAEN0339' certificate on May 30 this year. Indian Government introduces their Bharat Stage - IV (BS-IV) emission norms including stricter rules & regulations to control pollution happened due to the Auto emissions.

Mitsubishi Outlander, launched in October last year in India, has been awarded the first BS-IV certified premium SUV in India by ARAI (Automobile Research Association of India). The car was conferred the the 'AAEN0339' certificate on May 30 this year. Indian Government introduces their Bharat Stage - IV (BS-IV) emission norms including stricter rules & regulations to control pollution happened due to the Auto emissions. To help a future environment, the government also has decided to make compulsion on all new vehicles sold in the country from the month of April 2010 to follow the BS-IV emission norms. The rule will be implemented in eleven cities : Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Kanpur, Surat and Agra.
