Latest Update: The fourth-gen Suzuki Swift’s first public spy shots have surfaced online.

Maruti Swift Launch: Maruti could launch the new Swift in India by March 2023.

Maruti Swift Price: The fourth-gen model is expected to be priced from Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Swift Engine and Transmission: The India-spec Swift will come with the same 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine (90PS/113Nm) with some sort of electrification, probably a mild-hybrid setup. It will likely be offered with a choice between a standard 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. An optional CNG kit should also be available later.

Maruti Swift Features: New features on board could include a head-up display and a 9-inch touchscreen unit from the facelifted Baleno. Maruti is likely to continue offering it with cruise control, auto AC, and connected car tech.

Maruti Swift Safety: Its safety net could consist of up to six airbags, electronic stability programme (ESP), and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

Maruti Swift Rivals: The Swift’s only direct rival will be the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. The Renault Triber is a seven-seat alternative at the same price point.
