Range Rover has started assembling the Range Rover Sport in India as a complete knock-down unit. This has led to a substantial price drop and the SUV is now priced at Rs 1.4 crore for both petrol and diesel powertrains. To be precise, it has become more affordable by Rs 29 lakh now.

The Range Rover Sport is offered in a sole Dynamic SE variant which is available with both petrol and diesel engines.

The Range Rover Sport measures 4946 mm in length, 2047 mm in width, 1820 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2997 mm. With almost 5 metres of length, the Range Rover Sport is a large SUV with a striking road presence thanks to its bold looks and large dimensions. It gets plenty of modern styling elements which add to the sophistication of its overall design.

The Range Rover Sport comes with a host of top-notch features and amenities. The key features include a panoramic sunroof, 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 13.7-inch fully digital driver’s display, multi-colour ambient lighting, Meridian 3D surround sound system, electrically adjustable, heated, and ventilated front and rear seats, a massage function for the front seats, 4-zone climate control, and a heads-up display.
Range Rover Sport engine and transmission options
The Range Rover Sport is available in two engine options:

D350- A 3-litre six-cylinder diesel mild-hybrid engine which makes 345 PS and 700 Nm. It goes from 0-100 kmph in 5.9 seconds.

P400- A 3-litre petrol mild-hybrid engine which makes 400 PS and 550 Nm. 0-100 kmph in 5.7 seconds.
Both engines come with an 8-speed automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels.
Range Rover Sport Safety
The Range Rover Sport comes with a comprehensive safety package which includes a suite of ADAS features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking (AEB), and steering assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic parking brake with auto hold function. The Range Rover Sport has not been crash tested by either Global NCAP or Bharat NCAP.
