Volvo bestows D3 turbodiesel engine on S60,S 80 and XC60 models
Volvo India proudly launched a new variant of its luxurious S60 sedan, known as Volvo S60 D3, the new variant is available in two trims, Kinetic and Summum. This poised sedan is a head-turner for sure, it has got all traits that a premium sedan must possess. Starting with its brawny engine, the Volvo S60 D3 variant comes with 1984cc of diesel engine that produces about 160 HP of peak power accompanied with 400 Nm of torque. Priced at Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom price), the smoking hot sedan is all set to give its rivals a run for their money. The pickup of the sedan is impressive and it takes merely 9.2 seconds to touch the 100 km per hour mark on the speedometer.

To enhance the overall performance of the car, Volvo India has acted cleverly and mated the engine with six speed manual transmission, which also aids the car to improve the overall mileage delivered by it.
To make the car more safe, Volvo S60 D3 variant is loaded with ample of safety features that comprise of anti lock braking system with hydraulic brake assist and ready brake alerts. The dual stage airbags for the driver and front passenger ensures to prevent them from major injury during an accident or collision.
The new S60 D3 scores high marks in the comfort department,along with it, the car comes with an effective air conditioning system with electronic climate control. High quality upholstery gives a very plush feel to the passengers and power windows along with power steering makes the driver furthermore delightful and pleasurable. Volvo has also introduced the entry level variants of Volvo S 80 and Vovlo XC60 adoring D3 turbodiesel engine.
These are also available in both Kinetic and Summum trims, the new Volvo S80 D3 has been tagged at Rs 31.9 lakh (ex-showroom price) and the Volvo XC60 D3 comes with a price tag of Rs 33.9 lakh(ex-showroom price).
