Maruti plant at Manesar is soon to start its functioning again but this time amidst high level of security forces so as to make sure that July 18th is not repeated. Though for now, no dates have been confirmed yet and R C Bhargava, chairman of Maruti Suzuki commented saying that the safety arrangements need to be at its best before the work begins. He further added that, until the members of the factory feel secure, the factory cannot start manufacturing cars and also that, they will not risk the lives of the people.

It was reported that Maruti Suzuki India will form its own security force which will include 25-30 persons who will be ex-servicemen to take charge of the security of the factory and will be armed. These men will control a team of nearly 100 guards who will be sourced from an outside agency. Group4 was handling the charge of the security of the factory and were also present when the violence hit, might be replaced with a new agency.

The Manesar Maruti plant accounts for close to 40% of their production capacity. This lockout has been causing troubles for Maruti Traders and Stockists all around. With the re-initiating of the factory, the market on a whole will breathe a sigh of relief.
