This will end in Mumbai, India on the 12th of October. The hybrid versions of these SUVs are powered by a 3.0-litre Diesel engine and they still retain the same aluminium body structure. The new generation vehicles were designed keeping the hybrid versions in mind, and hence it wasn't difficult to add the electric motor. The electric motor and the battery together weigh about 120kgs and they increase the fuel efficiency by 15%.

The bookings for these models has begun in Europe and the deliveries will commence in early 2014. The Hybrid version of the Range Rovers will not be available in the Indian market.
