High Security System for the 2014 Indian Auto Expo
Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) has announced that high security arrangements have been made for the 12th edition of Indian Auto Expo, which is scheduled to be taking place at Greater Noida from February 7,2014. Sugato Sen, Deputy Director General, SIAM, further added that a three-layer security system has been incorporated in order to assure security and safety. Apart from Noida, A major chunk of this event, the component show, would take place at Pragati Maidan from February 6-9.
As already known, this week-long prestigious event is organized jointly by SIAM, CII and ACMA. So, Vikram S Kirloskar, SIAM President and Vice-chairman of Toyota Kirloskar Motor commented on the same, " It is going to be an exciting show. Despite the change in the venue (from Pragati Maidan in Delhi to Greater Noida), visitors will have an easy access to the new location". He further went on to add that, " We also plan to operate free bus service from Noida City Centre, Akshardham and Jasola metro stations and free bus service would also be provided to the visitors from Pragati Maidan to the venue".
It is expected that several renowned auto-makers from India as well as abroad would showcase their vehicle that includes cars, multi-utility vehicles, two-wheeler, three-wheelers, concept vehicles, commercial vehicles, vintage cars, super cars and super bikes. The Auto Expo Motor Show venue would be a whopping 58 acres, comprising 14 exhibition halls. On the other hand, the Auto-Expo component show would feature as many as 1200 participants. Moreover, special pavilions has been reserved for some specific coutries such as China, Taiwan, UK, Canada, Germany, Korea and Japan.
