Force Motors SUV expected to launch this June

India based Force Motors is expected to launch its new sports utility vehicle  this June, said sources. However, speculations are still on but some indicate that the seven-seat SUV would be priced in the range of Rs10 to Rs12 Lakh. The SUV, which is not yet being christened by Force Motors was also spied recently and it was found that it has a close similarity to Guangdong Foday Explorer III. Reports suggest that the SUV would be a 2.2 litre diesel powered common-rail engine. It is quite obvious that once it is on the road, the Force Motors SUV features wil closely rival SUVs by Tata, Mahindra and Mahindra and Mercedes Benz.

However, there is no exact information about the date and venue of the launch of the new Force Motors SUV but it is sure that the company is in the process of finalizing the SUV for the launch. There are also strong indications that this SUV will be fitted with Mercedes Benz C250-derived CRDI like engine and it is this engine capability that will stand it apart from its competitors, Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari.

Even before it is launched, expectations from the Indian SUV are high and it seems that the hopefully 140-160bhp, 30kgm toque 5-speed 4WD car will be able to deliver its best to the Indian car market. The SUV is said to under production at Force Motors unit at Pithampur in Madhya Pradesh. Besides, Force Motors is basically into public transport and also manufactures massive range truck such as Force Man Force.
