If not automobiles, Aakash would have been writing about gadgets as technology is the only other thing he understands apart from cars and bikes. Aakash had his first taste of piloting a vehicle with a go-kart he got to drive at an amusement park when he was 15. That was the first time he thought of making a living out of writing about automobiles. He landed (literally) at CarDekho after over 3 years of writing on general news topics and gadgets. He prefers bikes over cars for their practicality and level of involvement but loves to drive too, not just during peak hours though. He prefers naked and adventure bikes to almost every other bike for their versatility. He prefers automatic  transmission over manual transmission in cars for daily use. A stint at a racetrack may change that though.
