Renault K-ZE latest updates
Latest Update: Renault recently launched the electric version of the Kwid called the City-KZE in China. Details here.
India launch: The Kwid EV for India is expected to arrive sometime in 2022. This is highlighted in Renault’s five year plan from 2017-22.
Powertrain: The version sold in China gets an electric motor on the front axle that can make 44PS of max power and 125Nm of peak torque.
Battery and Range: The battery pack is a 26.8kWh unit that takes 4 hours to fully charge using a 6.6kWh AC charging source. DC fast charging is also supported by the City K-ZE and can charge the batteries from 30 to 80 per cent in just half an hour.
Features: Renault has packed in an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4G WiFi connectivity, online music support, remote vehicle telemetry, a PM2.5 air quality sensor and a tyre pressure monitoring system on the City K-ZE.
