Toyota Innova Detailed Images Spied
Detailed pictures of the upcoming 2016 Toyota Innova have been leaked online. The images reveal detailed interior and exterior shots of the upcoming Toyota Innova.
Update: After the success of the popular MPV Innova, Toyota has unveiled the next-gen Innova dubbed as Innova Crysta. The vehicle has already been launched in Indonesia and will come as a refreshing change in the Indian market after the decade long run of the original one. The new gen Innova Crysta comes with a lot of cosmetic changes including a large hexagonal front grille, projector head-lights with LED running lamps and more premium interiors inside. Toyota Innova is all-set for its release in Jakarta, which is scheduled for November 23rd and just preceding its launch, detailed pictures of the Japanese automaker's latest offering have been leaked online. The images reveal detailed interior and exterior shots of the upcoming Toyota Innova. The car can be seen in its black color scheme and the particular model shot is the mid-level ‘V’ variant. The interior shots reveal that the car snapped comes with a manual transmission. Further, inside the cabin, the all-new Toyota Innova flaunts a multifunction steering wheel and a touchscreen entertainment system.
Also, unlike the road-test spy shots, these images also provide a clear view of the alloy wheels. This mid-range variant doesn’t come with the optional 17-inch alloy wheels, projector LED headlamps or the push start button.
The all-new 2016 Toyota Innova Crysta will come with engine options that include a 2.4-liter GD diesel and a 2.0-liter VVT-i petrol engine. The diesel powerplant will also be shared with Toyota’s other offering, the 2016 Fortuner. The powerplants will come coupled to either a 5-speed manual transmission, which can be seen in the images or a 6-speed automatic transmission option.
In terms of safety, all variants of the 2016 Toyota Innova will feature three airbags and ABS with EBD as standard, whereas the top-of-the-line Q variant Innova will also get Hill Start Assist, vehicle stability control and curtain airbags. Reports speculate that the next generation Toyota Innova will make its debut in February next year, during the 2016 Indian Auto Expo.
