Mahindra BE 6 news

Besides the anticipated launch of the new Tata Harrier EV, multiple updates followed. Meanwhile, a mysterious Mahindra SUV test mule made us wonder – which model could it be?

While the carmaker has only delivered the fully-loaded Pack Three variants till now, it will start shipping the lower variants this month

The past week had it all starting from a new Kia MPV debut, the launch of a new version of the Windsor EV, a Tata teaser, a Jeep special edition and multiple official updates

Mahindra has so far been delivering only the top Pack 3 variants of the BE 6 and XEV 9e, with deliveries of the one-below-top Pack 3 Select variants scheduled to begin next month

From SUV-coupes like the Mahindra XEV 9e to sub-4m SUVs including the Kia Syros, Bharat NCAP has tested a total of 5 cars in 2025 till now

While most cars get the black colour in their regular variants, three of these EVs from Tata and MG get it exclusively in their special editions

As per booking trends, there has been 59 percent demand for the XEV 9e and 41 percent for the BE 6 with a collective waiting period of about six months.

The BE 6 is offered in five variants: Pack One, Pack One Above, Pack Two, Pack Three Select And Pack Three

Both the EVs offer over a claimed range of well over 500 km, while also packing in the most advanced technology and safety features on offer with any EV in the market

The Pack Three Select variant of the BE 6 looks more premium inside and out, and also gets some more luxury amenities such as ventilated front seats and a powered tailgate

The mid-spec Pack Two trim carries on with most of the key design features as the lower-spec variants but gets some useful additions in the form of dual-zone AC and some basic ADAS tech

The Pack One Above variants comes with similar features list as the base-spec Pack One variant but also offers a panoramic glass roof

Although it’s the base variant, the Pack One trim of the BE 6 electric SUV still comes with a solid features list for its price

From multiple screens inside to all-LED lighting setup, these cars have redefined what a base-spec variant used to be a few years back

The BE 6 is offered in five broad variants with prices starting from Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India)
