    Q.

Should I buy a petrol car now or wait for some more time so that I can get discount while BS VI get implemented? Buying on which month will be better so that I can reduce initial investment without affecting much on resale value after 8-10 years?

As you wish to plan the petrol car, we would suggest you to wait until the implementation of the BS-VI norms becomes mandatory. This will force the dealerships to clear their stocks early due to the mandatory BS-VI norms and which will help you get a better price while selling you are afterward. You may wait until 2020 so that you might also get amazing BS-VI compliant cars from the companies however, they might be offered with a bit of rise in the prices but getting a BS-VI car will be a better choice when it comes to the resale value of the car as the government might have strict rules towards the old cars or old BS-III, and BS-IV compliant cars.

Both colours are good. Choosing one will depend on individual preference so, we would suggest you to exchange words with your family and friends in order to pick one. Moreover, there are some pros and cons of light and dark colours. *Bright shade:*- Bright colours fade over time when exposed to natural elements.- Painting cost of a dark coloured vehicle is always greater than a light colour like white.- Bright colour gets better visiblity in the dark.- Bright colours are good for reflecting heat. This means the cabin will be kept cooler in summer.- While white may appear as a no-cost option, that’s because it’s often cheaper than other colours to produce.Dark shade: - The scratches and dents look much more pronounced on a darker colour than on a light colour.- Dark colours like red and blue looks more premium than bright colours. - Dark colour cars seem to attract more dust and bird poop than any other colour.
