Renault Triberis an excellent vehicle. I drove to Sabarimala recently and found the vehicle is excellent in terms of comfort and space. Coming to the most important point of engine capacity, the 999cc engine is brilliant in highways and yes it lags in hills. I drove with 7 passengers and I experienced under powering only when sudden overtaking is required from the first gear or second gear. But when I was driving at 40 km/hr or more in the hilly areas with no vehicles coming in the opposite direction, Triber overtook Innova. If your driving skill is not good, you will feel the underpowered engine. If you are really a good driver, then you can adjust your speed and accordingly the clutch so as to keep the vehicle moving.
