Wagon R 2013-2022 AMT VXI Plus Review
The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is offered with an AMT (automated manual transmission) unit in two trim levels - VXi AGS and VXi+ AGS. These trims are further bifurcated into the VXi AGS (O) and VXi+ AGS (O). In the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R VXi+ AGS (auto gear shift), the gearbox comes paired with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that generates 68PS of power and 90Nm of torque. The fuel-efficiency figures are rated at 20.51kmpl, which is one of the highest in its class. The AGS features four modes in its configuration - reverse, neutral, drive and a sequential-type manual gearshift setup.
The 155/65 section tyres on the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R VXi+ AGS come wrapped around 14-inch alloy wheels. The hatchback comes with 35 litres of fuel tank capacity, 165mm of ground clearance, 4.6 metres of minimum turning radius and a boot space of 180 litres. Over the mid-range VXi AGS variant, the VXi+ AGS gets gunmetal alloy wheels, projector headlamps, blacked-out B-pillar, rear spoiler, sporty side skirts and driver-side airbag. Other features that come standard with the VXi+ AGS variant include audio system with four speakers, piano black finish on the door bezel and the steering wheel, gear position indicator and rear wiper with washer.
