German car manufacturer, Mercedes Benz had planned to set up a financing division in India to boost up its vehicle sales. Mercedes will offer financing, leasing, insurance, and fleet management as a part of financial services with this division.

Sales of Mercedes Benz already exceeded in this year due to strong demand in month of September. Mercedes has sold almost 3285 cars and 220 trucks in this year. As there has been considerable slow down in demand since October, the company thinks that launching the finance division from it will assist customers to buy its vehicles. Mercedes Benz already offered financing facility in almost 40 countries globally.
