Chevrolet Spark Facelift Launching This Diwali
It seems as if General Motors India is in mood to leave no stone unturned, their recent launches, the Cruze upgrade and Captiva facelift have clarified these intentions quite clearly. We have reported this in the morning that the Sail hatchback and Sedan will replace the existing Aveo U-VA hatch and Sedan, which is expected to happen in the next few months. The next on the cards for GM is Chevrolet Spark facelift, which has been said to be coming in during the festive season, to be precise in the month of September.
Although the new Spark will not have any major changes, but the exterior will be inspired from the Electric spark, which was showcased last year, whereas the interior too might have similar Electric Spark alike colour scheme. The spark facelift should tweak its existing engine to make it more fuel efficient and to get the competitive edge over the others. The existing spark is powered with a 1.0-litre engine, that gives a mileage of around 12kmpl in city and 16kmpl on highway, which is actually lower than that of both the competitors, the Alto and the Eon. So this should be the most important department, on which General Motors should work.
Besides this, the much awaited MPV, Chevrolet Enjoy too is expected to come by the third quarter of the current fiscal year.
