BharatBenz Trucks Commenced Production Event by Rolling a Truck Off the Assembly Line
The BharatBenz Trucks, which is the truck brand of the German multinational auto corporation, Daimler AG has commenced the commercial production today. The company has a plant in Oragadam near Chennai, India where the 2523R heavy duty truck - BharatBenz Job One, has been rolled off the assembly line on time and in budget. The brand was officially launched in the first half of the last year and the manufacturing facility at the Oragadam, Chennai was inaugurated in April 2012; the market launch of BharatBenz trucks is scheduled for September 2012.

The 230bhp heavy duty truck rolled out, sits on the Mercedes Benz Axor platform and is sure to deliver world class performance, fuel efficiency and reliability for which the Daimler trucks are already known for.
The production event for Bharat Benz was started with ‘few words’ from the CEO and MD of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, Mr. Marc Lllistostella which were said in the appreciation of the high performance delivered by both the German and the Indian employees towards company’s success.
He mentioned that the production launch has set a milestone for the company as it was only few weeks ago when the plant was opened and this moment is a proud one as the team’s work of last few years has seen the deserved fruits.
