Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz Offer Heavy Discounts
The recently passed festive season had prompted a flurry of sales, uplifting the auto market in India briefly. However, with the passing of the festive season, the car market has gone back to its state of sluggish sales and to fight against this, luxury car makers, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, and BMW are offering heavy discounts on select models in their line-up.

Audi India has discount offers of up to 2.5 lakh in addition to a warranty offer. Mercedes-Benz has dealer based offers amounting to Rs. 1-3 lakh on specific C-Class models. Additionally certain models in the S-Class line-up are offered with discounts of Rs. 6-8 lakh.
BMW is offering between Rs. 1 to Rs. 4 lakh on most of its models with the exception of the BMW X1, which holds a discount of Rs. 4.5 lakh. This discount however, is only from the dealer end and BMW has already confirmed at the launch of the BMW X6 that it plans to increase its prices by 10 per cent from the beginning of the year 2013.
