Latest Update: Hyundai will not launch the facelifted Creta in India this year.

Launch: The facelifted Hyundai Creta could launch in India in September 2023.

Price: Its prices could start from Rs 10.5 lakh (ex-showroom).

Seating Capacity: It will continue to be a five-seater.

Engine and Transmission: The Indonesia-spec Hyundai Creta is powered by a single 115PS 1.5-litre petrol engine, mated to a six-speed manual and CVT. The India-spec model will further be offered with 115PS, 1.5-litre diesel and 140PS, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engines. The facelifted Creta in India could also feature the iMT (clutchless manual transmission) mated to the 1.5-litre petrol unit.

Features: Features on board the updated Creta could include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car technology, cruise control, wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and an air purifier.

Safety: On the safety front, it could be equipped with all the safety equipment offered on the current model including a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill start assist, rear-view monitor, and up to six airbags. It is also likely to feature a host of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Rivals: It will be a rival to other compact SUVs like the MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, Nissan Kicks, Maruti Suzuki S-Cross, Volkswagen Taigun, and Kia Seltos.
