- Better rear seat experience than the Hyundai Creta.
- Segment first features like adjustable underthigh support and a utility tray with a cupholder for the 2nd row.
- Third row for children or small adults.
- Still retains some boot space and 3rd row folds flat to give generous boot space.
- Just like the Creta, it's a feature rich experience with a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, 2 zones of climate control, and more.
Maruti Ertiga
- Comfortable 7-seater family car with usable space and practicality in all rows.
- Ride quality is comfortable over imperfections and regular speedbreakers.
- Available with a CNG: barely any difference in performance within city limits.

Hyundai Alcazar
- 3rd row is not suitable for full-sized adults.
- Not eaisly distinguishible from the smaller Creta.
- Blue plastics show some colour mismatch problems like on the small button cluster on the right side of the steering column.
Maruti Ertiga
- No diesel engine options: would’ve been great for efficient highway runs.
- Boot space: Strictly limited to a couple of mid-sized suitcases with all three rows up.
- No tumble and fold function for the second row: would’ve made third row ingress-egress easier.
