    Hyundai Grand i10 Wins Coveted Indian Car of the Year Award 2014 (ICOTY)

    Hyundai Grand i10 has grabbed the Indian Car of the Year Award 2014 (ICOTY), which is the most prestigious award of the Indian automotive industry. The annual award is sponsored by JK Tyre. The winner has been announced at a grand event in Delhi tonight.

    Hyundai Grand i10 has grabbed the Indian Car of the Year Award 2014 (ICOTY), which is the most prestigious award of the Indian automotive industry. The leading tyre manufacturer JK Tyre present the coveted award every year.  The winner has been announced at a grand event in Delhi tonight. ICOTY is one of the Indian awards on the international standards and modeled on similar lines as the American Car of the Year, European Car of the Year and Japanese Car of the Year. The award was attainted by esteemed guests including bureaucrats, the scions of the corporate world, and senior officials from the auto industry and representatives from industry bodies.

    Hyundai Grand i10 came as a surprise winner as earlier the contenders were the Ford EcoSport and Honda Amaze, which were the two most successful, innovative and popular products. When Hyundai launched Grand i10 certainly became one of the best sellers, not only this, the premium hatchback has a great design, first in segment features and a revolutionary frugal small 1.1-litre diesel engine.
