शेवरले इण्डिया ने आज अपनी प्रिमियम एसयूवी शेवरले ट्रैल्ब्लैज़र को इंडियन ऑटो मार्केट में लाॅन्च कर दिया है जिसकी कीमत 26.4 लाख रूपए (एक्सशोरूम) रखी गई है। प्रिमियम एसयूवी सेग्मेंट में केप्टिवा के बाद, ट्रैल्ब्लैज़र कंपनी की दूसरी एसयूवी है जिसे सीबीयू रूट के जरिए देश में उतारा जाएगा। इस कार को केवल एक वेरिएंट में ही पेश किया गया है। शेवरले ट्रैल्ब्लैज़र में 2.8-लीटर डयूरामेक्स अमेरिकन इंजन लगा है जो 200 बीएचपी पावर 3600 आरपीएम पर और 500 एनएम टाॅर्क 2000 आरपीएम पर और जनरेट करने में सक्षम होगा। शेवरले ट्रैल्ब्लैज़र को 6-स्पीड आॅटोमेटिक ट्रांसमिशन तथा 2WD सिस्टम के साथ उतारा गया है। फीचर्स के तौर पर इलेक्ट्रॉनिक स्टेबिलिटी कंट्रोल (ESC), हिल स्टार्ट असिस्ट (HSA) व हिल डिसेन्ट कंट्रोल (HDC) तथा सेफ्टी फीचर्स में ड्यूल फ्रंट एयरबैग, ट्रैक्शन कंट्रोल और एबीडी-ईबीडी को शामिल किया गया है। प्रिमियम एसयूवी सेग्मेंट में शेवरले ट्रैल्ब्लैज़ का सीधा मुकाबला टोयोटा फॉर्च्यूनर, मिशतुबिशी पजे़रो स्पोर्ट, हुंडई सेंटाफे और जल्द लाॅन्च होने वाली फोर्ड एंडेवर से होगा।
