The company came out with the first CNG based passenger bus, which was given to the popular BEST in Mumbai in year, 1997. In year, 2005 Ashok Leyland was the first automobile manufacturer to get the reputed BS 7799 certification, which was given to them for Information Security Management Systems. Now the latest buzz from the company is that they are coming up with a stylish and charming MPV, which is expected to launch very soon.
