Need Next Generation;
Volkswagen Polo is a great car. We are listening to this statement for years but my question is for how long it would be? What's so special about this car? We even today have the same car which was replaced almost 3 years back in the global market. The interior design looks like it is a decade old. The maintenance cost is as high as drugs. The features are missing like projector headlamps, LED DRLs, lack of space, poor insulation of noise. Ok now, here are some positives which are not being alive. I admit that VW polo has a great built quality but next Gen i20 is coming, that will overtake the benchmark for sure, Fun to drive Nature- but the 1.2 litre TSI variant is too expensive to maintain, Tiago JTP has more power at 3-4 lakhs cheaper amount. Some will say its a german, but if producing a decade old car in a competitive market and giving it a minute of a minor update, if that is called german engg. I am happy with Indians and Japanese. The point is that Polo no more makes any sense in the Indian market for now and we definitely need the next generation for sure!
