I was driving an old Maruti 800 since the year 2002, but with the passage of time, I realized that my family needs to switch to a big car. As the Maruti 800 started aging and was also not spacious to support my big family in day to day chores, I finally made my decision to buy new Maruti Eeco. After driving for 3 years, I can say I am pretty satisfied with the car. The engine of the car is very reliable while the service backup of the company is simply commendable. For a person who is looking at buying an affordable car with extra space, comfort, and efficiency, this is indeed a good choice. The typical boxy appearance may not appeal everyone but the sporty body graphics on the side and a center cap on wheels definitely make it attractive. Outer features include ORVMs on driver side, clear lens tail lamps, and headlamps. Inside, Maruti Eeco is equipped with essential features such as sunvisors, molded roof lining, and multi tripmeter. Maruti Eeco carries the 1.2L petrol mill that is capable of generating power output of 73bhp and peak torque of 101Nm, returning an impressive mileage of about 15kmpl. This engine is coupled to 5-speed manual transmission with DSA system. Eeco is also available with CNG kit choice that can return the mileage of 20km/kg. With seating capacity for 7, sliding doors and large boot space, the car is worth considering for daily up-down of a large family. The vehicle may not be as powerful as it should be, but considering the price, it is worth buying.
