Tata Curvv Car Latest Update
Latest Update: The Tata Curvv was spied on test yet again, this time showing one of its key ADAS features.
Launch: We expect the Tata Curvv to go on sale in the second half of 2024.
Price: The ICE (internal combustion engine) version of the Curvv could be priced from Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.
Seating Capacity: The Tata Curvv will seat up to 5 passengers.
Boot Space: The Tata Curvv will have a boot space of 422 litres.
Engine and Transmission: Tata’s SUV-coupe will use a new 1.2-litre turbo petrol TGDi engine (125 PS / 225 Nm). It could be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Tata will also be offering it with the Nexon’s 1.5-litre diesel engine (115 PS/260 Nm), likely with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Features: Key features on board could include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and panoramic sunroof. It is also expected to get ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, and push-button start/stop.
Safety: In terms of safety, the Curvv will come with 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The Curvv is also expected to come with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like autonomous emergency braking and blind spot assist.
Rivals: It will be a rival to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Citroen C3 Aircross and MG Astor.
Tata Curvv EV: Tata has also confirmed the launch timeline of the electric version of the SUV-coupe, the Tata Curvv EV.
