Tata Safari 2023

Latest Update: The facelifted Tata Safari has been spotted with ADAS for the first time. It is expected to debut at the Auto Expo 2023.

Price: The updated Safari is expected to be priced from Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards.

Seating Capacity: The facelifted SUV will be offered in both six- and seven-seater configurations.

Engine and Transmission: It will likely employ the same engine, a 2-litre diesel engine producing 170PS and 350Nm and mated to a six-speed manual transmission and an optional six-speed automatic transmission.

Features: The updated SUV could feature a new infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a nine-speaker sound system, a wireless phone charger, an air purifier, a panoramic sunroof, and a six-way adjustable driver seat. It will also include amenities like cruise control and auto air conditioning (with vents for second and third rows) and ventilated seats.

Safety:  The revised Safari is anticipated to integrate ADAS features such as lane keep assist, lane departure warning, auto emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control. The current model has up to six airbags, an electronic stability programme (ESP), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), all-wheel disc brakes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, roll-over mitigation, and ISOFIX anchorages.

Rivals: The facelifted Safari will continue to fight it out with the MG Hector Plus, Hyundai Alcazar and Mahindra XUV700.
