The third-gen Maruti Suzuki Wagon R retains the iconic 'tall boy' look of its predecessors. While the latest Wagon R has a more visually appealing design, practicality remains its defining feature. The high roof ensures easy ingress and egress, provides an excellent view from the high-set seats, and offers ample cabin space. The boot is also spacious and practical. Though not luxurious, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R's interior is reasonably well-finished, although the build is typically lightweight. The 68hp, 1.0-litre petrol engine is suitable for city driving but lacks power. The 83hp, 1.2-litre engine delivers livelier performance without a significant fuel economy penalty. Both the 5-speed manuals and AMTs are user-friendly for city commuting. The Wagon R excels as a city car, thanks to its compact size and light controls. However, due to its tall shape and light curb weight, it may not be the ideal choice for long-distance travel, even though it's more stable than its predecessors.
