Budget Vehicle but compromised on safety

Maruti Swift is one of the most popular cars of this era. Even after 10 years of launch, Maruti is selling close to 15000 Swift per month. So there must be something good about it. Goods: 1. Steering: Best of all I have driven which includes Honda City, VW Vento. You get amazing control on the vehicle with Swift's power steering. 2. Budget Vehicle: Maintenance cost of Swift is amazingly low. Even if you do not have ha zero depreciation insurance, you will not feel the brunt of the cost of Spare Parts. Once I rammed my vehicle in the parking and have to replace my door, bumper and fender along with denting and painting - what it cost me ? - Only 16000 rupees. 3. Mileage - It easily gives up to 20 on highways which brings down the running cost drastically. 4. Maruti Brand - You can get repair centers in any nukkad of the country and believe me you need one almost every 6 months for minor repairs. Negatives: Safety: Body material is extremely weak. Even if a monkey jumps on the roof of the car, it will bend inwards and slight knock here and there will damage the complete part altogether. So forget about this car if you are worried about what will happen if you met some accident - you will not find a part of your car. Ground Clearance - If you are used to SUVs, you will find it very bad in terms of ground clearance. If 2 people are in the back seat of the car, you will have to be extremely careful crossing bumpers on the streets (which are increasing alarmingly) Interiors: It only comes in Black. If you are looking for something fancy and have driven other vehicles before, you will find it extraordinarily ordinary. Overall, very good vehicle for cramped city where you will find it easy to turn and giving good mileage at the same time but if you are running on highways - there are better options elsewhere.
