Porsche drove in their Panamera Sport Turismo Concept at the Paris Motor Show 2012 which displays the new design language and a more estate like model. And as the company states, the concept is an outlook on a possible Porsche sports car of tomorrow.
The body style and color options along with gadgets and individual seating for four passengers, Porsche displays a futuristic vision.
In terms of looks, the Sport Turismo looks more aggressive and sleek in comparison to the prevailing Panamera and it stands at 1,990mm wide which makes it 61mm wider, 4,950mm long making it 20mm shorter and 1,401mm tall which results to making the concept 17mm lower.
The concept uses a plug-in hybrid which is developed from the hybrid system that is used in the Panamera S Hybrid and Cayenne S Hybrid. The powertrain in the concept is links to the 3.0-litre V6 engine, the new electric motor.
The V6 engine is capable of delivering 329bhp and the electric motor delivers 94bhp and the total output is 410bhp.
The lithim-ion battery used can be charged within 2.5 hours depending upon the power supply and with a full charge, the Porsche Panamera Sports Turismo can cover 30kms and achieve 130kmph in electric mode.
