LeEco has caught the eye of many in the global electric car space. In case you’re not an adherent, the China-based tech company has been a sort of a guiding light in terms of ‘Internet-linked electric cars’ in this part of the world. And signalling its entry into motorsport, LeEco's strategic partner, Faraday Future, is now raring to make its Formula E debut at the Hong Kong ePrix on October 9.

At the championship, the Faraday Future Dragon Racing team will lock horns with India’s sole participating team – Mahindra Racing. The LeEco-endorsed team came into existence when Faraday Future signed up as the technical partner for the renowned American racing team, Dragon Racing, in July earlier this year, according to a press release.
