      Renault Lodgy

      • Practical seven-seater. Even the last row of seats is genuinely usable.
      • Fantastic ride quality. Feels at home on our broken roads.
      • Diesel engine offers great driveability and efficiency, whether you opt for the 85PS or 110PS tune.
      • Tumble forward second row captain seats and removable third row liberate up to 1,861-litres of luggage space.

    • Maruti Suzuki Ertiga

      • No diesel engine options: would’ve been great for efficient highway runs.
      • Boot space: Strictly limited to a couple of mid-sized suitcases with all three rows up.
      • No tumble and fold function for the second row: would’ve made third row ingress-egress easier.

      Renault Lodgy

      • No sliding second row seats. Average knee room for tall occupants.
      • Interior trim quality is better than the Duster’s, but is still average for a vehicle at this price.
      • Boxy styling makes its design very polarising. May not be to everyone’s taste.
      • No diesel AMT like the Duster.
