- Available with petrol and diesel engines with a choice of 6-speed manual or automatic transmissions for both.
- More tech: Brake based differential locking system, auto locking rear mechanical differential, shift-on-the-fly 4x4 with low range, 10.25-inch touchscreen with off-road gauges, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and navigation
- Improved noise vibration and harshness management offers a more refined experience

- Lot of variants and powertrain options
- Very capable engine options
- AWD with diesel engine
- Ride quality is very comfortable
- Impressive infotainment experience
- Long safety list, with 7 airbags
- ADAS has been tuned for Indian road conditions

Mahindra Thar
- Stiff ride quality. Deals with bad roads well but sharp bumps can unsettle the cabin quite easily
- Old school ladder frame SUV and behaves like one. Loads of body roll even on mild curves
- Some cabin flaws: Rear windows aren’t openable and thick B pillars create large blind spots to the side
- Not an alternative to family-friendly sub-compact/compact SUVs that are more comfortable, practical, spacious and feature-loaded

- Not a fun to drive SUV
- Petrol engine gives effortless power, but not exciting
- Some quality issue in the cabin
- Strange missing features like auto-dimming IRVM
- Boot space behind 3rd row
