If you like laid-back driving, you will enjoy the XL6 both inside the city and more so on the highway. It is only available with the 1.5-litre Smart Hybrid petrol engine from the Ertiga. The engine impresses with its refinement. For the XL6, the firewall insulation has been improved and you barely hear the engine inside the cabin. It remains vibration-free for the most part as well. What it also loves to do is cruise on the highways. The motor remains relaxed at low triple-digit speeds too. Push it past 4000rpm, however, and it makes quite a racket. AT gearbox likes to hold revs higher up in order to keep you going smoothly, which will take a toll on your fuel efficiency. Drive with a light foot and the gear changes are smooth and jerk-free, though a tad slow. It is only when you decide to suddenly overtake a car or go faster that the shifts feel a bit jerky. With the automatic transmission, the XL6 continues to be a relaxed cruiser - whether in the city or on the highway. If we talk about hilly terrains, It will do the job but not recommended for regular usage. You may find the drive quality a bit jerky as you need to drive the car in overdrive mode. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

Both cars are of different segments. Mahindra Bolero is a 7-seater SUV. If would be a great pick if you often travel on highways, tackle bad road conditions and drive in rural areas too. On the other hand, Maruti XL6 is a premium 6-seater MPV and it would be a great pick if you want a city centric, comfortable car for your family and want good fuel efficiency. You may compare both the cars according. Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

Both cars are good enough but come under different price ranges. If we talk about Maruti XL6, a rugged SUV-like design does enough to distinguish it from the Ertiga. Captain seats mean more comfort in the second row which is enough for 6 footers too. The 1.5 petrol is quiet, refined, and tractable. The automatic transmission is also available in the top-end Alpha trim. If you are on a budget and looking for a fuel-efficient, comfortable car for your family of 6 members, and daily car usage is less and rarely go on highway long drives, you may go for Maruti XL6. On the other hand, the Mahindra Marazzo has carved out a nice niche for itself, right between the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Toyota Innova Crysta. It’s a pukka 7- /8-seater and has all the goodies a modern family would require. Sure, it isn’t a driver’s delight, but that’s hardly something that’s expected from an MPV anyway! So, if you are looking for a spacious cabin, comfortable ride quality and often go for long drives, you may go for Mahindra Marazzo. You may compare both the cars accordingly.Do take a test drive in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
