Latest Update: The Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan has been unveiled in India. However Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed the launch of its first EV in India.
Price: If launched, it could be priced from Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Variants: Internationally, it is being offered in three broad variants: SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max.
Battery Pack, Electric Motor, And Range: The SU7 comes with three battery pack options:
- A 73.6 kWh battery pack paired with a two-wheel-drive (2WD) electric motor which makes 299 PS/400 Nm, and gives a CLTC claimed range of up to 700 km.
- A 94.3 kWh battery pack paired with a two-wheel-drive (2WD) electric motor which makes 299 PS/400 Nm, and gives a CLTC claimed range of up to 830 km.
- A 101 kWh battery pack paired with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) electric motor which makes 673 PS/838 Nm, and gives a CLTC claimed range of up to 800 km.
Features: The SU7 comes with amenities like 16.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, 56-inch heads up display, wireless phone charging, panoramic glass roof, powered front seats with active side support and a 25-speaker sound system.
Safety: Its safety kit includes 7 airbags, and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) using LiDAR technology with features including automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and adaptive high beam.
Rivals: The Xiaomi SU7 will take on the BYD Seal and Hyundai Ioniq 5, while being an affordable alternative to the BMW i4.
