Good value for money car

I purchased my Ertiga VXi car in August 2013 and till date have driven about 2100 km in Delhi and on the highways extensively. The car is very comfortable for up to 5 adults on long drives and up to 6 adults on short drives or in the city where you can use the third-row seats which also gives decent comfort for tall people. I get a mileage of about 13 kmpl in Delhi city with AC running in 1 or 2, and if you run on 3, it drops to 11kpml in the city. With AC off, the mileage in winters with heating on is about 14kmpl when driving within Delhi. On highways with AC on it gives in excess of 15 kmpl and at times, up to 17 kmpl. I have driven it non-stop on highways on 6 to 7 occasions about 500-700 km in one day non-stop without problems. It?s not a sports car but pickup is decent especially after revs cross 1400rpm. One, however, feels that engine is slightly low powered for steep hill driving. The car has not given any trouble till now and I have done only recommended servicing. Build quality is good and car is stable at high speeds, braking is good and noise in the cabin is comparable to similar models, overall a good buy.
