I was one of the first to get delivery of the XUV- W8 in Mumbai and the XUV was good for initial 2-3 months. Now there is a list of problems
1. The clutch paddle problem
2. The brake pump problem & brake pads noise
3. Clutch failure with problems in the engine (not to mention faulty GPS system, which gets stuck at various points, and you have to restart the XUV if u want to get out of that)
Every time Mahindra service centre took 4-5 days for repairs and only once they provided a temporary vehicle for use because, this time, the XUV would be in repair for months. I had asked them to replace the vehicle, but they said that only engine would be replaced. I am not going to take back the XUV; they can keep it if they want. I will move to the court after some time if there is no response. The customer care is not replying to my emails. Someone from the dealer calls up randomly. Other car makers would have recalled the vehicle, but Mahindra is still pondering over the plan of action for reported problems. I will share all the updates you.
