Mahindra XUV500 2024 latest updates
Latest Update: Mahindra will bring back the XUV500 nameplate in 2022. It is likely to be priced from Rs 12 lakh to Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom) and could go on sale by mid-2022. The new XUV500 is likely to get a 5-seater layout. Mahindra is expected to provide it with the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines as the Thar. Both engines could get the choice of 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. It is expected to borrow the same dashboard layout as the new XUV700 SUV while missing out on a few premium features. When it arrives, the new XUV500 will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta and Tata Harrier.
