Best From The Rest
Best From The Rest
Purchased Ford Freestyle 5 months ago. It's titanium plus Diesel model. Bought this car because of safety features like TCS, 6 airbags, awesome build quality and driving dynamics, I have driven this car in the city and on the highway. In both driving conditions, the car handles pretty well. I touched 170 kmph on the highway. Car was so planted on higher speeds. No nervousness on higher speeds. Its driving dynamics gives you the confidence to drive on 3 digit speeds. On safety, the front car does well. It's tough to build quality gives you a sense of security. In quick breaking also car feels sure-footed its break work superbly. The comfort of the front 2 seats is awesome. Rear seats are a bit short for 6+ person. Storage places are plenty in the first seats. There are no bottle holders in the rear which is a downside. Also, the cabin illumination at the back is very poor. Plastic quality is ok as per pricing goes. Build quality looks solidly poot together. You feel it with the door shutting sound. A solid thud gives you a sense of security. With 1.5 diesel engine, this is a pocket rocket on the road. Power comes in very early around 1300-1400 RPM. After 2000 RPM this engine pulls and pulls cleanly. Very refined engine and perfectly tuned gear ratios make it a very agile handler on the highway as well as in the city. Some downsides are smaller outside rearview mirror, no rear illumination light, limited boot space. This car is worth every penny you spend on. I have driven it for 8000 km now. Has not faced Any issue with the car. I am getting mileage of 16-18 in the city and 20-23 on the highway. Best car in the budgeted segment as per our Indian road conditions with higher ground clearance.
